Ok Pip, I've finally watched the race so you can post the results. Thanks, America, for waiting for me. 
I have been so excited all month, looking at 12 hours of dvr'ed endurance racing to watch. You can imagine my chagrin after watching the first 7 hours, then start the next recording to see the exciting conclusion only to find out they flew the checkers at 7:50. But wow! GTLM cars took p1 & p2 overall! What a fascinating race that was. I was really pulling for the 007 Aston to win, winning 23 year old Christina Neillson her first drivers championship in her first season. Missed it by 2 points. Also had been looking forward to those wacky Taylor brothers to better their positions. Oh well. They still put out some great music videos. 
Favorite quote of the race. Tommy Kendall on Porsche 911 car driver, and overall race winner Nick Tandy: " Ya know, most drivers pass when they have the opportunity. Nick Tandy passes when he gets there."
All in all, a great race, and a great end to the 2015 season. We only have to wait until January for Daytona to start again under the Weathertech banner, the sweet new GT3 chassis, the new prototype chassis, and THE NEW 2016 FORD GT!!
