Vettel had first Ferrari contact in 2008

For the record, I am no fan of Vettel.  This makes me even less.  I'm not naive, I know drivers talk to other teams.  Too often something goes wrong and a top driver is left in the cold for a season (look at Kimi, and it almost happened to Button the year he ended up with the WDC).  But the fact that Vettel had been having 'secret meetings' with Ferrari for 7 years makes me question his loyalty.  

His contact commenced when he joined Torro Rosso and he met mechanics and eventually Domenicali while they serviced STR's Ferrari engines.  It went on from there through three team principals.  

I know the article is really all about his enthusiasm for his new team, but he sometimes lets these bombs drop when he thinks it's all part of his relaxed persona, while in fact it lets us in on what I would call a broken character.  

His interview style is full of humour and relaxed, but ever since that fateful race in Turkey when he twirled his finger indicating that the contact he made with Webber was Webber's fault (Mark should have pulled aside and waved him through?), and following that, his petulant stance against Webber on every occasion gives me nothing but a seething feeling when I think of Vettel. 

I hope Kimi comes out of his cocoon and kicks some Vettel butt this season.
